INCLUDES PONY CLUB Qualifier for Pony Club Spring Festival
SJ & WH/XC fences, all on a surface
OPTIONAL Dressage test - test CAN be read out.
Riders will jump a course of 5-8 show jumps and then proceed immediately into the XC phase of 8-15 simulated XC fences.
BE Eventing Rules for tack and rider equipment for XC.
Dress code - XC attire including Body Protectors;
First Aiders will be present
Rosettes to 6th
ODE PRIZES based on number of competitors, if 5 1st £35, if 10 2nd £30 , if 15 3rd £20, if 20 4th £10 etc.
Arena Eventing (no dressage) PRIZES based on number of competitors, if 5 1st £30, if 10 2nd £20 , if 15 3rd £10 etc
if 5-9 competitors 1st prize money, if 10-14 2nd etc

SJ & XC - disobedience or knockdown 4 penalties, 2nd refusal 8 penalties, 3 x refusals = elimination
Fall of horse or rider ELIMINATION
TIMED, every commenced second under optimum time (15 second tolerance) = 1 penaltie, Speed 325 metres / minute for 45cm to 70cm, 350mpm for 80cm, 375mpm for 90cm to 105cm. No stopwatches allowed.
Starting before the bell /Retaking an obstacle already jumped/ Error of course/exceeding time limit - Elimination
THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL
This class is a qualifier for the NPS ARENA EVENTING CHALLENGE FINAL. The Final will be held in September 2022. The final is open to mares, geldings and stallions four year old and over, in possession of an equine passport but no specific registration or breed society criteria. Ponies’ manes may be plaited at competitor discretion.
Qualification will be gained by achieving a top 10 placing or a double clear in a qualifying class. Qualification will be confirmed by the NPS Office. Any qualification gained in the 60/ 70cm or 80/ 90cm will jump the higher limit in the final.
Riders may only ride one pony in each class at the final. Only ponies owned by NPS members (Life, Qualifying or Performance) can qualify for the final.
