Hobby Horse Jumping and Dressage
We want to be inclusive and introduce as many people as possible to the fun of hobby horsing, so don’t worry if you have a hobby dinosaur or unicorn, all are welcome. We have hobby horses that can be borrowed, so everyone can have a go.
Each class will be awarded prizes in two age groups, age 3-9 year & 10 years and over (age as on 1st Jan 2024)
Jumping Classes: Competitors may be assisted. Shorter sticks are recommended, as are trainers or comfortable running shoes.
Dressage: Each competitor will perform a freestyle show to music of their choice no longer than 2 mins in duration. There will be 50 marks for coordination, balance & energy, and another 50 for overall performance.
This event is a qualifier for the UK Hobby Horse Association Championship at Bury Farm, Slapton, LU7 9BT on September 8th 2024
