Class 1 - Individual - max 60cm - entry fee £20
Class 2 - Individual - max 70cm - entry fee £20 **
Class 3 - Individual - max 80cm - entry fee £25 **
Class 4 - Pairs – max 80cm - entry fee £40 per team **
Class 5 – Individual - max 90cm - entry fee £25 **
** ELAND LODGE QUALIFIERS – the top 3 competitors in classes 2-5 qualify for the same height class at the elandlodge.com National Hunter Trials Finals.
MEDICAL: £2 per person per entry is payable towards paramedic when collecting number.
NUMBERS: Printed numbers will be provided. Competitors must provide their own number bibs. In the pairs classes both competitors must wear number bibs.
PRIZES: Rosettes to sixth, prizes in kind to first three.
CLOSING DATE for entries: 10pm on Wednesday 11th September 2019. Class sizes are limited. Entries via www.horsevents.co.uk
TIMES: will be available on 13th September on the Northallerton Equestrian website, the Hurworth Hunt Facebook Event Page, & www.horsevents.co.uk
COURSE WALK: after 4pm on Saturday 14th September, all dogs must be kept on leads
REFRESHMENTS: Hot & cold refreshments available all day.
PHOTOGRAPHY: exclusively via Hurworth Photography - no other event photography permitted.
RULES:
OPTIMUM TIMES - The winner of each class will be the competitor with a clear round closest to the optimum time. In the Pairs competition the timer will run from the first person leaving the start box to the second person crossing the finishing line. Competitors are not permitted to wear stop watches.
BODY PROTECTORS and SKULL CAPS to BE standards must be worn.
Medical Armbands recommended.
Catering faciliites and toilets on stie.
The judges’ decision is final.
No refunds will be given after entries have closed.

It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure that their horse or pony is fit enough to compete without showing signs of distress. Distressed animals will be asked to retire. Owners entering their horse or pony do so at their own risk. The organisers and Landowners accept no liability in respect of an accident, injury, damage or illness to horses or ponies, owners, riders or spectators, or any other persons or property whatsoever. For Health & Safety Regulations to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occuring and obey instructions from the organisers and stewards. All litter and waste must be taken home from the venue or disposed off in the bins provided.
