Hurworth Hunter Trial (Eland Lodge Qualifier)

Hurworth Hunt - Hunter Trial on Sunday 17th September at Northallerton Equestrian Centre on the grass crosscountry course.

Class 1 - Individual - max 60cm
Class 2 - Individual - max 70cm - 1.8km course
Class 3 - Individual - max 80cm - full course
Class 4 - Pairs – max 80cm - full course
Class 5 – Individual - max 90cm - full course
Class 6 - Individual - max 100cm - full course

Each height will be run as one class with separate sections for Senior / Junior (under 18yo) for Elland Lodge qualifier purposes.

ENTRY FEES:

• Class 1 = £25
• Class 2, 3, 4, 6 = £30
• Class 5 = £55
• Plus £2 Medic Fee

ELAND LODGE QUALIFIERS – the top 3 Senior and Junior (under 18 yo) competitors in each height class qualify for the same height class at the elandlodge.com National Hunter Trials Finals.

NUMBERS: Competitors must provide their own numbers & number bibs. In the pairs classes both competitors must wear number bibs.

PRIZES:
1st - Full of entry fee refund
2nd - Half of entry fee refund
3rd - Third of entry fee refund
Rosettes to sixth place

CLOSING DATE for entries: midnight on Thursday 14th September, 2023. Class sizes are limited so may close sooner than the published closing date. Entries via https://horsevents.co.uk/

TIMES: will be available on 15th September on the Northallerton Equestrian website, the Hurworth Hunt Facebook Event Page, & www.horsevents.co.uk

COURSE WALK: after 4pm on Saturday 16th September and on the day. All dogs must be kept on leads. If walking the course on Sunday please be aware of competitors on the course.

REFRESHMENTS: Hot & cold refreshments available all day.

PHOTOGRAPHY: exclusively via Hurworth Photography - no other event photography permitted.

RULES:
OPTIMUM TIMES - The winner of each class will be the competitor with a clear round closest to the optimum time. In the Pairs competition the timer will run from the first person leaving the start box to the second person crossing the finishing line.
Competitors are not permitted to wear stop watches or GoPros / Headcams.
BODY PROTECTORS and SKULL CAPS to BE standards must be worn.
Medical Armbands recommended.
Catering facilities and toilets on site.
The judges’ decision is final.
No refunds will be given or exchanges made after entries have closed.
