INTRODUCTION TO TRAIL RIDING WITH THE ZETLAND HUNT
Join us on Saturday 24th October for an introduction to trail riding with the Zetland Hunt.
This is a great opportunity to introduce your horse to hounds and the experience of riding as part of a group, in a friendly and welcoming environment.
We will set off promptly at 11am and follow hounds over a number of pre-laid trails for approximately two hours, with some optional jumps along the way for those who wish to take part.
REFRESHMENTS
Light refreshments will be served at the meet, with hot sausage or bacon baps, tea, coffee and soft drinks available on our return to the venue.
VENUE
Brettanby Manor, Brettanby
There is plenty of parking on grass at the venue, available from 10.30am.
ENTRY FEES
Entry includes light refreshments at the meet and hot refreshments afterwards:
Adults: £45 in advance / £50 cash on the day
Children aged 10–16: £25 in advance / £30 cash on the day
Children under 10: £10 in advance / £15 cash on the day
Zetland Hunt subscribers: £10 cap
Non-riders: £5 for refreshments
Entries close at 10pm on 17th October.
DRESS CODE
• Black or navy jacket with a cream stock
• Ratcatcher/tweed jacket with shirt and tie is also fine if you don’t have a dark jacket
• Adult body protectors are advisable if jumping
• All children taking part must wear a body protector and a riding hat with a kite mark
• Plaited horses/ponies are preferred but not essential
CHILDREN & FAMILIES
Everyone is welcome and this is a child-friendly event.
Parents/guardians must be present for the duration of the event for any children taking part.
ENTRIES & CANCELLATIONS
All advance entries are via Horsevents.
Cash only on the day.
No refunds will be given for cancellations after entries have closed.
