Join us for Friday Night Fences,  friendly and supportive showjumping at the RDA Unicorn Centre, created for riders of every level who want to build confidence, gain experience and enjoy their jumping in a relaxed atmosphere.

Whether you're stepping into the ring for the very first time over poles on the ground, bringing on a young horse, or chasing 80cm clears, there's a class for every horse, pony and rider. With 8 classes running each week from Poles on the Ground through to 80cm, there really is something for everyone.

Cash prize money is awarded in every class each week, based on the number of entries (1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5), with rosettes to 8th place in every class kindly sponsored by Discount Equestrian. Every competitor in Poles on the Ground, Mini X-Poles and 40cm also receives a rosette and a sweet treat — because everyone deserves a little something for having a go!

Our café will be open all evening, so bring your family, friends and supporters. All profits from the series go to the RDA Unicorn Centre, a registered charity (No. 1062577) providing horse-based activities, equine therapy and volunteering opportunities for young people and adults with additional needs.

Expect a warm welcome, supportive judging and a real focus on encouragement and having fun with your horse. We can't wait to see you there!

Classes start at 4:30pm. Open to all — no membership required. £14 per class or £25 for two classes.

Terms & Conditions

Lorry Park 

• No haynets are permitted in the wagon park
• Horses must not be tied up outside boxes, except whilst actively tacking up

Equine Biosecurity & Passports

• All horses must have a valid passport available and accompany them at all times during travel
• Passports not previously registered with the Unicorn Centre must be presented before unloading
• Horses without a passport, or with lapsed, incomplete, or invalid vaccinations, will not be permitted to unload
• No refunds will be issued where entry is refused due to passport or vaccination non-compliance
