At horsevents.co.uk we have the lowest booking fee for online horse entries across the country for those people entering one class at one event (One class at one event is by far the most common online entry frequency). We have compared our figures with our main rivals in this handy table (but do read passed the table as we expand in more detail on those numbers).
Company | Entry Fee | Booking Fee Cal | Total Payable |
Horsevents | £15 | £15 * 3.9%=0.59 +.40p | £15.99 |
Horse-Events | £15 | +1.30 | £16.30 |
Horse Monkey | £15 | +£1.50 per trans | £16.50 |
Equo Events | £15 | +£1.50 per trans | £16.50 |
Equine Affairs | £15 | +£1.54 | £16.54 |
A number of our rivals have a flat rate for the booking fee regardless of entries made, so the more you enter the "cheaper" it effectively feels. However, at horsevents.co.uk, the booking fee covers all merchant fees as well as site admin fees, so the Organiser receives the full net entry fee WITHOUT ANY deductions. One of our competitors (horse-events) has a sliding scale of booking fees which are driven by the amount spent.
Here at Horsevents.co.uk we also offer the Organiser the option to receive entry fees directly into their own PayPal/Stripe accounts, or allow us to manage those entry fees and then make a single BACS payment the day after the event for the FULL entry fees (minus any refunds and prize monies if you ask us to manage the prize money payouts as well). If you opt to use your own payment provider, then not a problem, we will simply invoice you for 25p per entry completed (this 25p will be easily covered by the Booking Fee charged, the remainder of which will cover any payment processing fees).
